This pricing page is a rough outline of our pricing structure; we'll be better able to provide a more accurate estimate once we've discussed with you the nature of your items.

Specific or individual client requirements and the variations in how an item can be photographed makes it difficult for a photographer to list merely one price for all images. We can, however, in a rough outline, share our previous experience in pricing on a variety of tabletop product image effects which will help in approximating an image's cost. Do keep in mind these are rough assessments and although they provide accurate estimates in most cases, we do encounter jobs that defy this pricing structure and must instead be billed hourly.

Of course, pricing reflects the complexity of the piece itself as well as the desired effects. A simple item can be as little as 30.00 where as a multi-colored, reflective large piece can be as high as 100.00.

Definitions for pricing elements:

“Arrangement”

On a scale from one to ten is the ease or difficulty in positioning the item/items so as to best illustrate the dimensions, coloration, reflectivity, etc.

"Color correction"

is applied to image files where the camera has failed to render colors accurately. This is a peculiarity with a few materials: pieces containing, let's say, dichroic glass; certain fabrics, etc.

"Effects: Drop shadow"

Shadows are rendered on separate layers. This allows the shadow's layer opacity to be adjusted or set to "darken" a background; this effect enables the item to be realistically placed in a "virtual" setting.

Additionally, our constructed shadows are rendered realistically; we consider the item's environment and positioning and apply the shadow accordingly. The effect is subtle but convincing.

"Effects: Reflection"

Reflections are typically requested for items rendered with reflective black backgrounds, but can be applied to white backgrounds as well.

"Effects: Gradiation"

As opposed to merely a solid background, a gradiation suggests image depth and highlights the item.
